Tomorrow you turn 12 and so I would like to share with you 12 special wishes

Twelve Special Wishes For My Special Daughter:

1- Always have the ABILITY to find your way back home and know that NO MATTER WHAT I will always be waiting for you with open arms.

2- Always have the AMBITION to follow your dreams, NOTHING is out of your reach!

3- Always have the GRACE to tell someone when they have something stuck in their teeth…

4- Always have the HUMOR to laugh when YOU are the one with something stuck in your teeth.

5- Always have the STRENGTH when someone knocks you down to throw on some butt pads and get right back up. Don’t let anyone or anything stand in your way.

6- Always have the CONFIDENCE to realize that YOU ARE WORTH IT.

7- Always have the COMMON SENSE to realize not to do something stupid that your “friends” try to get you to do because you are never too old for me to EMBARRASS you.

8- Always be able to LOVE yourself as you are. NEVER feel like you need to change YOU.

9- Always have the COMPASSION to help those in need.

10- Always take PRIDE in your life.

11- Always LIVE without boundaries.

12- Always TRY your hardest and realize that I am so very proud of you whether you are 1st or 50th and whether you get an A or a C. I love YOU and will forever be your biggest and loudest cheerleader and #1 FAN.

BONUS- Always be POLITE to those who take your food order… nuff said.

You are my swan. It is such a treasure to be your mom. I love you to the moon and back again. I can’t believe that you are already turning 12! It seems just yesterday that you were spitting up in my hair, toddling around barefoot because you wouldn’t keep shoes on, coloring on the walls, and cutting your own hair! Now you are a young lady who has the gift of being a talented artist and an amazing writer ~ I can’t wait to see where you go over the next 12 years!

She is beautiful, He is handsome but it goes so much deeper than that. He is patient, she is sweet but it’s even more than that. They have a bond that you can actually feel. He would do anything for her and she is right there by his side.They are the kind of people that you can stand in the middle of no where talking for hours even while you are being eaten alive by mosquitoes and not care because you just want to keep talking and laughing with them! (hmmm this sounds familiar ~ oh yeah been there, done that!!)

He has the kind of cheeks that will turn any person into an 84-year-old Great-Granny with the strong desire to just pinch them… No worries, I refrained. I figured that making the handsome little guy cry and fear me would be a bad idea… but I WANTED to!
