Sooo much has happened in the last 3 months since I last photographed August! As most of you know August is one of my Baby’s First Year Collection VIPs, I last photographed her at 6 months old and let me tell you what huge changes happen between 6 and 9 mos! Auggie can now sit up, stand, crawl, and is ready to take off walking any day now! Oh it is soooo much fun watching teeny babies become teeny people! Mom is a huge Alice in Wonderland fan so of course we had to do a little tea party for one of her sessions!
Today 12 years ago I was about to give birth to one of the most special people I would ever know. Today 12 years ago I would meet someone who would change my life forever. Today 12 years ago I fell in love with a tiny little bundle the instant I met her.
Twelve years ago you came into my world after a 15.5 hour labor, a last minute epidural and after me debating that maybe I would rather have a pony or a puppy- pain makes ya say the craziest things! But then at 2:35 am you entered my life with a somersault (breathe- the Dr. caught her!) and a cry. These first moments were filled with me snuzzling close to you and taking you in were filled with the most overwhelming feelings of love and pride. I knew you would be someone special… I was right.
So on this day 12 years after your birth we celebrate, we celebrate you! I love you.
