It changes your life – the birth of your first child. You never realized how much it would change you. The birth of a baby creates new mothers, fathers, and grandparents. It brings about a happiness and joy that you never knew you had inside you. It makes men turn to mush- babbling-baby-talkers and turns women into snuggly-wuggly-bundles-o-love. It is funny but no matter what advice you received prior to becoming parents you just couldn’t be prepared for the love that you would feel and that acting seriously goofy would become normal.

The family in this session comes to me all the way from Canada! They came to Florida on vacation and I couldn’t have been happier to squeeze in a vintage picnic styled session for them. I hope to see you again next year! ~Hugs~

These three are a dose of triple trouble! I haven’t had quite this much fun in a while teasing, tickling, and giggling. I love they way they interact with each other. The sister and the youngest of the crew is totally in charge (as it should be!) and the big brothers know when they had better step back or watch out!

As most of us know being pregnant isn’t always fun, you grow, gain weight, swell, get nauseous at the smell of hard boiled eggs that sends you into a rant which portrays you as both a crazy person and a sobbing ball of hormones. (Ok so I *may* be speaking from experience here… sooooooooooo not MY fault- everyone KNOWS that I HATE eggs!)

Ok so back to it… all the while we are experiencing these wacky changes and uncontrollable gas that can clear a room in 2 seconds flat- yikes! Well except me, I didn’t have gas, in my case it really was the dog, I swear; we are also experiencing a miracle that will change our lives in every way imaginable and it will be the best thing that has ever happened to us.  And after a while our crazy rants and emotional outbursts will end (though we will be teased about them for YEARS to come!) and we will settle into life as a mother.

On the other hand you can be like this beautiful expectant mother with a radiating glow and a perfect little baby bump.

I could write a post about how beautiful this baby bump is. I could write a post about the gorgeous glow this soon-to-be mother has. I could write a post about how cute this couple is together anticipating the arrival of their first baby. I could… Instead I think I will just let their photos tell their story.  

Meet Aria. She laughs, plays, runs, and loves just like any other sweet little girl about celebrate her first birthday but Aria is special. When Aria was just two itty bitty weeks old her parents received a phone call that would forever change their lives. The results from the newborn panels (tests) were in and they got the news that Aria has Cystic Fibrosis, CF. Their world is now made up of love, hugs, laughs, tears, meds, breathing treatments, and knowing that at any time a cold could land this sweet little doll in the hospital. So they love her and protect her with all they have and she has had an amazing and healthy first year!
